Koksilah Watershed Community Info Night — Sharing Science and Recommendations from the 2021 Twinned Watershed Study
Informative presentations will be provided by the project leaders for Environmental Flows, Fish Habitat, and Riparian Vegetation field studies that were conducted by local people in the lower Koksilah river and riparian areas throughout 2021.
This work was completed as part of a Twinned Watershed Project in the Koksilah and Chemainus Rivers, coordinated by the Cowichan Watershed Board on behalf of Cowichan Tribes and Halalt First Nation. \
Funding for this project was generously provided by the Province of BC and the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation.
Speakers will include Jeff Anderson (geomorphologist), Heather Pritchard (eco-forester) and Chris Steeger (wildlife biologist)
